In 2014, I began working for a modeling agency and learned about fashion, including hair styling and makeup. This experience provided me with the skills and knowledge to combine hair and makeup in all kinds of settings, including photoshoots, fashion shows, and other events. In photoshoots, the camera catches every single detail – you can’t hide anything on camera, so the makeup must be perfect. In fashion shows, the makeup needs to make a statement, stand out, and remain vibrant on the models working the runways for an extended time.
After years of experience working for modeling agencies and exposure to photoshoots and fashion shows, I found my true calling for beauty – working with brides and their weddings. Catering to a bride on her most special day, then receiving a smile of satisfaction in return brings me an incomparable sense of personal fulfillment and joy.
In 2018, I moved to California to grow both personally and professionally. Thanks to the knowledge and experience I gained throughout the years, I decided to continue my passion for hair and makeup. I formed a talented and trusted team of hairstylists and makeup artists. My team and I worked tirelessly throughout the entire Bay Area with over 50 beautiful brides, the entourages, and attendees of the weddings.
My team and I regularly continue our education in the world of hair and makeup. Beauty school and other classes keep us up-to-date with new trends and techniques, improve our skills, and provide the best look and service to all our clients.
In the summer of 2021, I officially launched Maia Beauty. My number one priority? Make the bride’s dream look on her wedding day into a reality, and bring out her inner beauty in the most natural, flawless, and timeless fashion.
