An incredible moment is coming! You’re getting married! Congratulations! That is exciting! But the moment feels nice and fun until you ask yourself, “What do I do next?” Well, ladies, I’m here to help provide some answers. After nine years as a makeup artist helping brides be happy with how beautiful they look on their big day, I am here to make sure this experience feels magical and stress-free. If you can’t find any answers to any questions here or if you feel uncertain about anything, please feel free to contact me. I will be more than happy to help.
Yes! I personally provide up to 6 services on the wedding day. This could be:
• 3 hair & makeup services
• 6 makeup-only services
• 6 hair-only services
• Or another combination totaling up to 6 services.
For larger bridal parties, I’m often able to accommodate your group by bringing in trusted artists from my professional team. Since I don’t require a service minimum to book, I often accept additional weddings and appointments on the same day. Because of this, it’s important that you communicate your final service count as early as possible and have your getting-ready timeline confirmed in advance.
If additional services are added later in the planning process, I may no longer be able to accommodate them, as my team members’ availability and my own schedule may already be committed to other clients. The earlier we finalize your bridal party details, the better I can ensure everyone is accommodated smoothly.
I use products from many different top brands. You’ll only find high-quality and high-performing products in my kit to ensure your makeup is flawless on camera. Additionally, I use waterproof and long-lasting makeup. To ensure safety and good hygiene for each client, all brushes are sanitized, while disposable brushes are used for mascara, lips, and eyeliner. (Let me know about any types of allergies.)
Yes, I request 30% of the total cost as a deposit to reserve your date. This is non-refundable. The deposit will be applied towards your final balance. As soon as you contact me, I will need some information so that I can provide the contract, pricing information, and other details. I cannot hold a wedding date without a signed contract and deposit.
Yes! If you’d like, you can schedule a bridal preview before booking. However, please note that a trial does not reserve or hold your wedding date.
Because wedding dates are booked on a first-come, first-served basis, I prioritize brides who are ready to secure their date by signing the contract and paying the non-refundable retainer. If another bride books your date before you’ve reserved it, I may need to cancel your scheduled trial.
Once you’re ready to move forward and your contract is signed with the non-refundable retainer paid, your wedding date is officially reserved. We’ll then work together during your bridal preview to perfect your hair and makeup look, ensuring you feel confident and beautiful for your wedding day.
I provide on-location hair and makeup services throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
I charge a flat travel fee for locations between San Francisco and San Jose. For locations outside this area, travel fees are customized based on the distance and total travel time required.
Since longer travel times limit my availability to accept other clients that day, pricing for extended travel reflects both the distance and the time reserved for your wedding. If your location falls outside my standard service area, I’m happy to provide a personalized travel quote.
I start booking a year in advance. The sooner, the better.
Not necessarily. Because I don’t require a minimum number of services to book, I may accept additional appointments or weddings on the same day when my schedule allows.
When you book with me, we will determine the time you need to be fully ready for your ceremony, and that ready time is included in your contract.
My schedule for the day is planned around that agreed-upon timeline to ensure I arrive on time and complete your services without feeling rushed.
Every bride receives the same level of care, professionalism, and attention to detail, regardless of whether I have another event later that day.
If you’d like to add services or make changes to your bridal party after booking, please let me know as early as possible. Since my schedule is built around the timeline and service count outlined in your contract, last-minute additions may not always be possible if I’ve already committed to other clients or if my team is no longer available.
My goal is to provide a seamless, organized, and stress-free experience while ensuring you’re ready by the contracted time for your wedding day.
One week before your wedding, I will send you a detailed timeline specifying the schedule for hair and makeup, as well as a Wedding Morning Guide to help you feel totally prepared for the day. This way, you’ll know exactly what to expect, making your getting-ready experience calm, organized, and enjoyable.
Absolutely! I use professional, long-wearing products and proven techniques to ensure your makeup looks beautiful from the moment it’s applied until the end of your celebration. Proper skin preparation, layering techniques, and setting products all play an important role in creating a long-lasting finish.
That said, while bridal makeup is designed to withstand happy tears, no makeup is completely waterproof. Tears contain natural oils, which can break down makeup over time if you’re crying heavily or frequently.
To give you extra peace of mind, every bride receives a complimentary touch-up kit that includes essentials such as your lipstick, lash glue, blotting materials, and a refreshing setting spray. In the unlikely event that a small touch-up is needed, you’ll have everything you need to quickly refresh your look and continue enjoying your special day.
In most cases, though, my brides find that their makeup lasts beautifully all day with little to no touch-ups needed.
Yes! False eyelashes are included with every makeup service at no additional cost.
I bring a variety of lash styles, lengths, and shapes to complement different eye shapes and makeup looks.
I also carry cluster lashes, which are perfect for creating a soft, natural enhancement or a more customized look. During your appointment, I’ll select the lash style that best suits your features and your vision, ensuring your final look feels comfortable, beautiful, and lasts throughout your celebration.
Yes! Healthy, well-hydrated skin is one of the best foundations for beautiful bridal makeup.
If you enjoy facials, I recommend scheduling your last facial 2–4 weeks before your wedding day. This gives your skin enough time to recover from any redness, sensitivity, or unexpected reactions.
I also recommend avoiding retinol or prescription retinoids (such as Retin-A or tretinoin) for at least two weeks before your wedding, unless your dermatologist has instructed otherwise. These products can cause dryness, peeling, or flaking, which may affect how foundation sits on the skin and make it more difficult to achieve a smooth, flawless finish.
In the days leading up to your wedding:
• Keep your skin well hydrated.
• Stick to your regular skincare routine.
• Avoid trying new skincare products or treatments.
• If possible, avoid extractions, chemical peels, or anything that could irritate your skin within two weeks of your wedding.
Remember, makeup looks its best on healthy, cared-for skin—not necessarily perfect skin. My job is to enhance your natural beauty, and I’ll tailor the makeup application to your skin’s needs on your wedding day.
